Όταν βρεθείτε στο κέντρο της Βοϊδοκοιλιάς, με το χαρακτηριστικό σχήμα πετάλου, θα νιώσετε βέβαιοι ότι βρίσκεστε όχι απλά στην ομορφότερη παραλία της Μεσσηνίας, αλλά ολόκληρης της Πελοποννήσου.
Είναι οι πράσινοι λόφοι στις δύο άκρες της; Το κάστρο στην κορυφή ενός από αυτούς (το Παλαιόκαστρο); Η λευκή με αποχρώσεις του ροζ άμμος; Τα γαλαζοπράσινα νερά; Οι αμμοθίνες;
Είναι όλα αυτά μαζί.
Στην παραλία δεν θα βρείτε (ευτυχώς) ομπρέλες, μπαρ και ταβέρνες, οπότε καλό είναι να έχετε προμήθειες μαζί σας. Απολαύστε την.
Πρόσβαση: Με αυτοκίνητο. Η Βοϊδοκοιλιά βρίσκεται κοντά στη Πύλο, ακριβώς δίπλα στον υγροβιότοπο της Γιάλοβας. Από την Πύλο ακολουθείτε τον δρόμο προς Γιάλοβα. Συνεχίζετε μετά την Γιάλοβα προς Ρωμανό. Υπάρχουν πινακίδες που θα σας οδηγήσουν στην παραλία.

When you find yourself at the center of the horseshoe-shaped Voidokilia you’ll feel certain that you’ve been to the most beautiful beach in Peloponnese.
Is it the green hills in both ends of the beach? Is it the old Navarino castle (Paleokastro) on top of the south hill? Is it the white and pink colored sand? Maybe the blue-green waters? Or the sand dunes?
The answer is: all of the above.
Keep in mind that there are no umbrellas, bars or taverns at the beach, so bring supplies and water with you. Enjoy!
Access: By car. Voidokilia is located in southwestern Peloponnese (Messinia Perfecture), close to Pylos, right besides the Yalova wetland habitat. You drive from Pylos towards Yalova (or Gialova). Pass Yalova towards Romanos village. There, you will see the signs that will take you to the beach.
